Where these numbers come from

The package and installed rates are from the BuildingsGuide metal building price guide, a national quote-matching site, as of October 2026: $15 to $25 per square foot for a steel package with a 10 foot eave, materials only, and $24 to $45 per square foot installed with slab and erection. These are national estimates, so Oklahoma quotes can land above or below. The slab line scales the QuoteAndBid Oklahoma 30x40 slab estimate of $9,311 to $13,145 for 1,200 square feet by your building's area. That scaling is our own arithmetic, and real slab bids change with thickness, dirt work and access. Every figure is on our metal building costs page, including a worked 30x40 example.

What the calculator cannot know

Delivery, permits, engineering for your site, doors, insulation, electrical, gutters and grading are extra unless a quote says otherwise. Some cities also require painted panels, a steeper roof pitch or masonry on a street-facing wall; see the rules page.
